Welcome to 2nd Portishead
Welcome to 2nd Portishead Scout Group. We provide a programme of “everyday adventure” for over 100 young boys and girls aged between 6 to 14 in Portishead on a weekly basis.
In Scouting, we believe young people develop most when they are ‘learning by doing’, when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves.
As a group, we also aim to be at the heart of the community in Portishead. With our hall and its facilities being available for use by the wider community, the Group is also keen to get involved in community events locally.
